Minerva & Athena Photo Print

Two helmeted marble goddesses meet in a single image, framed by the arches of an ancient vault: Athena of the Greeks and Minerva, the name Rome gave her. Storaro layers them into one, wisdom passing from Greece to Rome.

Part of La Civiltà Romana by Vittorio Storaro, the three-time Oscar-winning cinematographer of Apocalypse Now, Reds and The Last Emperor, made in 1988 as a double exposure directly in the camera. Printed to order on fine art paper, rolled or framed.

Each print carries Vittorio Storaro's signature, printed with the image.
